Greek Godess Persephone By Megan Gates

Persephone had many people in her family. Zues sired(had) many children with  goddesses, and mortals. This was BEFORE Zues married Hera. Also, Zues married his sister (Hera) and had affairs with his other sisters. Kronos(Chronos) also married and sired many children with his sister Rhea.

Persephone's husband was Hades, and they had no children. Persephone's parents were Zues and Demeter. Zues' parents were Kronos and Rhea from when the Titans ruled.  Demeter's parents were Kronos and Rhea as well. Kronos' parents were also Titans, Ouranos and Gaia. Rhea's parents were Gaia and Ouranos. Gaia and Ouranos had no parents since they were the first generation. (Kronos and Rhea's parents are not included in the chart)

This is Zeus, Persephones father. He is also the King of Mt. Olympus.
This is Demeter, Persephone's mother. Goddess of Grains, Agriculture, and Growth.
This is Hades. He abducted Persephone and forced her to marry him. He is her Husband as well as King of the Underworld.
This is Kronos, the Olympian's Father. He overthrew his Father like the Gods did with him. His son, Zues banished him to Tarturas. (In this picture, he is eating his children.)
This is Rhea. She was Zues's mother and saved him from being eaten by his father by placing a boulder where Zues should have been. She also sent him to Krete as a child.
This is Gaia. She is known as the creator of man, animals, and of the earth. She had no parents like Ouranos.
This is Ouranos. He was the first generation and sired the Titans including Kronos. He was sent to the depths of Tarturas by his son, Kronos.
