Greek Godess Persephone By Megan Gates

Persephone was the daughter of Zues and Demeter. Demeter was the goddess of Grains, Agriculture, and Growth while Zues was the god of the Sky and of Mt. Olympus.

Persephone was a goddess that had an aura of life that surrounded her. It made the land, animals, and humans around her turn into magnificent things.

Persephone was very beautiful, therefor, many men and gods tried to make her fall in love with them. Since Demeter was a very over protective parent, she moved Persephone to Sicily.

Below is a picture of Persephone. She looked much like her mother, Demeter.
